Here at Cake Workshop we are celebrating our 27th anniversary. Established in our current position in 1985 we were the first specialist novelty and celebration cake shop in Southampton and we are sure our success has everything to do with the constant quality, imagination and taste!.

Owner Wendy Spreadbury has been making cakes since 1987 when starting a bakery and confectionary course and working in bakery`s finally working at the cake workshop in 1993. Wendy was able to buy and take over Cake workshop in 1996 and employes 5 people.

We are a small business and we care about each and every cake. We can see our customers from where we decorate and like nothing better than to see their faces turn to a big smile when the lid is lifted. that''s job satisfaction at its best!

Our customers come to us year after year, some even after moving many miles away!. We have also been lucky enough to  be asked to make Prince Edwards, Duke of Edinburghs award cake for the past 15 years. We have been told he enjoy`s a few slices!. Our prices are very competitive including our wedding cakes!!.   

Our shop host`s a large selection of decorating equipement, food colours, toppers, stand and knife hire, cutters, sugar flowers, feathers, diamonte, glitters and much more!!
